How IdealLegal secures legal work products, attorney-client privileged materials, and advocate data under Nigerian and international privacy standards.
IdealLegal complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023) and the NDPR. Personal identification data (such as Bar enrolment numbers, advocate credentials, and chamber billing contacts) is processed lawfully, transparently, and solely for providing legal intelligence services.
We uphold the foundational legal principle of litigation privilege. Briefs pasted into the Citation Doctor, case pleadings generated in the Drafting Studio, and notes stored in Matter Dockets are strictly partitioned and are NEVER shared with public AI models or used for model training.
Chambers maintain full ownership of their data. You may export all saved matters, citations, and generated documents in JSON, CSV, or DOCX format at any time. Upon chamber termination, all user records and cached materials can be permanently purged upon request.
